Hidden coves such as the ones you see in this video are found all along the lower end of the Rubicon Trail and the Emerald Point peninsula. As you can see the water kind of gives off a feeling that your in the tropics its crystal clear and various shades of aqua to dark blue. Allot of people come down to the coves to have a dip in Tahoe's cool waters. Imagine that just so far off shore where these coves are located are quite a few sunken vessels and barges. One must wonder why there are so many various historic remnants found along these coves here did they run around? Victims of the sierra triangle? No less if you want somewhere private all to yourself to swim at this would be the place. You will also see some of the peaks in the Carson range we battled such as Jobs and Genoa Peak.
