We found this cobble stone dam on the northwest end of the lake. Not sure what its purpose was or why it was built considering the fact that its so small that there is no way it could ever hold back the melting snow of the sierras. No less it is historical and you could tell the stone work was all done by hand as all the pieces of rock were mortared together.
