The Benton Family Farm, a fourth generation farm, has operated as a Non-profit 501C3 for the past four yrs as the family farm could no longer survive on depending on crops, cattle, school tours as it had for over 23 years, and the 50 years before that on farming alone. The family farm is a dying breed.

The nonprofit organization 501C3 allowed for grants and donations to pay for classrooms to get to this actual working farm. A farm that allowed them to milk a cow, shear a sheep, gather eggs, see and feed the barnyard animals. For a child growing up on concrete in Covington or Cincinnati, Ohio this experience allows them to know what a farm looks like and get hands-on. Fundraising goes to schools that for free tours, and also the farm day camp they run all through July, if a child can't afford to pay for camp these funds allow them to offer many scholarships for a week at the farm full of fun and education.
The 115 year-old farmhouse is haunted by various former residents including Mr Benton.
Benton Family Farm Brian Cano
Brian Cano
As tech specialist for John Zaffis' paranormal investigation team on the much missed Haunted Collector (reruns now airing Tuesday nights on Destination America), Brian was responsible for use and management of the gadgets and gear. Well known for mixing old and new techniques of investigation, he also served as second in command of the team and helped manage the deployment of the crew itself.
Cano first recognized his desire to explore the unknown at a young age. Growing up on Staten Island, New York, Brian often took note of abandoned buildings recessed within the woods near his home during Sunday drives with his parents. They spoke to him, sparking his imagination and his curiosity. Alone or with friends, Brian began exploring the old and abandoned buildings despite countless rumors of Satanic activity, missing children, or ghostly sightings. Instead of deterring Brian from his new found hobby, this element of fear and danger only added to the allure.
Expanding his experiences in urban exploration to include paranormal investigation, there are few places he will not go. When not crawling in the dark, Brian is a video editor and produces an independent series of paranormal documentaries entitled, SCARED!. Brian's work has been praised in several publications, including TAPS Paramagazine and Haunted Times Magazine. Various episodes of SCARED! have won awards at several film festivals. Ultimately, Brian's goal as an investigator is to measure, quantify and get empirical evidence to support the claims of paranormal activity reported while maintaining his skeptical edge.
