The first mill to use Cyanide to process the gold and silver from the extracted ore was Donavon's Mill. In 1890 it was bought out then expanded operating for over 30 years only to remain abandoned for nearly over a half of century. Today most of the mill is in tact which really adds to the value of its early mining history. I spent sometime adventuring the grounds which are surrounded by remnants of the past scattered across the hillside which also include cyanide tanks, assay office, blacksmith and machine shops. It is such a massive place with so much of the past left behind that I hope to eventually explore it on a paranormal level.
