It soon would be nightfall I climbed up a hill overlooking Spicer trying to see if Rascal was in the meadow below. Unfortunately I could not see or hear him however I heard the cattle back behind me where I just came from so decided to go look for Rascal then finish heading up to Spicer Reservoir. This was about as close as Id get and my journey back to camp would be a trial.
