When we arrive at Iron Mtn in April of 2012 we find that the snow here in some places is at least 7' deep with drifts even higher. Keep in mind that this is just a mild winter so due to this fact may have led to the demise of this winter resort. Today it is a sno-park mainly for snowmobiles and that is the trail we are taking through the woods which will take us on into the abandoned resort.
