After leaving the Luther Ranch we decided it was time to take the Tahoe Rim trail which takes you up to a place called Big Meadow. For Nov. there is plenty of snow and ice on the trek so you ave to watch your step as its a steep ascension to the top. This area can be considered as part of the Lake Tahoe National Forest since only a few miles away the lake resides below and behind us.
