Nordyke was a stop on the Copper Belt Railroad that particularly focused on ore processing and ranching. The town boasted a train station, five stamp quartz mill, flour and alfalfa mill. Today very little remains but the beautiful house on the hill that resides on a stone wall, flour mill and an old wooden cafe. There also is a few foundations but they have succumbed to nature thus obscuring the view of them in this very film. The town boasted about 150 residents but has been consumed by many local ranches and the city of Yerington.
