The road to Honanki is over four miles and it can be done with a car however use caution. I took a tour of the area and pueblos its one of the most ancient locations in the country with beautiful scenery in the Coconino National Forest. Palatki nearby is much like Honanki more or less they are like sister cities only miles apart or whats left of them. Notice how red the roads are this red dust and rock covers much of Sedona hence the nickname Red Rock Country. The rocks erode creating the red sands you see which cover many of the roads in Sedona.
