This is the Wadsworth Historic School built in 1896 where all grades attended all one schoolhouse. The town the school exist was a railroading town that died due to fires and the fact that the highway went around the entire town taking away allot of its business. Today most of the town is in peril including this schoolhouse built out of brick then covered in stucco. It is a symbol of education and pride in Washoe county although deplorable it sits for many years abandoned awaiting its next adventurer.
