This is what its like to hit rock bottom which really puts things into perspective of how small you are when you are the very bottom of the Mokelumne Canyon. At one time before the reservoir was formed this is what the ancient Indian tribes would have seen so to be able to stand at the very bottom is perhaps a once in a lifetime opportunity.
