As a rule, I am personally loathe to produce these debunking videos against a tv show produced for, `entertainment purposes`.
Yet having seen the alleged ghost which looks like Stuart Torevell, and was later claimed to be a `doppelganger or stone tape` ghost of him by Yvette, I felt minded to share my observations to video.
Clearly, this ghost can be easily created with Chroma Key in most video editors, and the likelihood of a phantom resembling a modern day team member is virtually impossible.
I explain the process of creating this ghost, and explore reasons why the show have decided to share this highly questionable footage. Add also the fact (not shared at the time on video) is that according to Paranormal Truth on Youtube (which too questions this `ghost` being genuine). It`s alleged that the data card popped into a PC by Glen shows a file on this list with a different date and the fact it is a copy. That file allegedly contains the `untampered` video of the `ghost`. I couldn`t verify that from my own PC as the image wasn`t sharp enough, but in the light of everything else, it does not surprise me. As a serious researcher and film maker of history and the paranormal I was deeply shocked to see this.
It is programmes like Most Haunted which effectively ridicules in the eyes of critics and sceptics the whole ethos of paranormal research, and makes genuine researchers work a whole lot more difficult. A similar attitude reflects in the media with a plethora of fake or questionable videos or photographs. Added to that, the very successful fakers on Youtube and elsewhere who command an army of believers with this nonsense. Where does it all end?
I hope that eventually a majority will steer clear of questionable shows and channels, and that those in authority will change tactics towards sharing genuine and meaningful responses.
I and many others are here to share the truth, and hopefully to bring enlightenment to many who seek proof of an afterlife. This show is quite obviously heading in an opposite direction.
