The massive stone blocks, bolts and nuts show that this was a true temple of its time during the Comstock Lode boom. At one time this mill processed ore from 17 other mines locally perhaps as many as over 60 tons a day. The mine itself ran underneath the mill and totaled over 4000' in depth. In the clip you can see the elevator cables and massive walls scattered on the hillside.
