This is a more in depth tour of the Union Mine and Mills grounds. Not much remains but a few tailings, scrap metal, wood, stone ruins and debris piles. Sharon's empire led to the building of the Virginia and Truckee railroad. This operation was very large overlooking 7-Mile Canyon. The mine itself is collapsed with no entry but at one time gold and silver in the millions were mined from its tunnels.
